I have not yet mentioned our most faithful attender at the Iglesia de Cristo. He is always waiting at the door, eager to participate. He is greeted enthusiastically by all, especially the children.
We first met Brandon when Michael Carter had just returned to Panama for a few weeks. His dad was saying how excited he was that Brandon came by since he hadn’t seen him in so long. “They were inseparable when Michael lived here,” David said.
Brandon makes his presence known in the marketplace as well, where he has numerous friends. He often hangs around when we are having lunch at the outdoor eating area of the market though he has never inserted himself when we went to an indoor restaurant.
He greets everyone as they arrive at any assembly—Sunday worship, Tuesday night singing, or Friday night Bible study. Everyone calls him by name. He is often the last to leave.
Of course I must include a picture of Brandon. I just hope you don’t think the church here is going to the dogs.
